This post is a response to Mama Kat's Writer's Workshop.
Prompt:
Photo Story: Take a walk through your neighborhood this week and share some pictures of what Spring looks like where you live.
Spring on Washington Street starts with beautiful and bright yellow
Trees blooming in purple...
Delicate white flowers...
Green leaves and bold blue sky...
The bench where Jason reads to his first graders in the afternoons...
One proud tulip...
Red fire hydrants...
A cute baby head enjoying the sunshine...
Trees showing their growing leaves...
Pursed baby girl lips...
A family of gorgeous tulips
Another lovely group of flowers...
A strong and tall fence...
An iron bench in a beautiful front yard...
An abundance of pretty flowers...
A very old headstone...
Surrounded by many more remembrances of our veterans...
A curious bird...
And the best part of spring...
Neighbors with open doors...
Who invite you inside...
To play, chat, and catch up...
And make plans to enjoy the warm weather together.
I feel like we are all coming out of hibernation. Our courtyard is starting to fill up with kids again, thank goodness, I was starting to get all squirrely.
